Long overdue…… my canyon jump in Interlaken!
Switzerland is the most beautiful country in the world! Highly recommend everyone get there somehow. This is also where all the magic is hiding.
My new favorite picture! …it may or may not be the background of anything in my life that can have a background….. I don’t know though….
That time I forgot I had a blog….
Sooooo funny thing happened this week…. I forgot I had a blog. Woops!! Sorry. It’s been quite the busy week since I’ve arrived. But let me say first, it has already been fantastic! London is absolutely beautiful. Walking down the street in the morning to go to class and thinking of all the people who have walked down them before is CRAZY. There’s so much history here it’s almost too much to think about.
I’ve now spent time in beautiful Trafalgar Square, gone sight-seeing in Hyde Park, seen Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, and gotten myself lost on the tube. All in a day’s work. That actually took more like a week but everything’s kind of blending. I’m so so so excited to keep on exploring! Friday my flatmates and I are going on a trip with Syracuse to Stonehenge! I can’t wait. Sunday is another trip to the East End markets which will be awesome too. There’s so much excitement coming!
This week was the start of classes, and luckily they all sound really interesting. I’ll keep everyone updated as I start freaking out. Expect panic.
All in all though, things are starting to get really exciting. That’s the only word I can use to adequately explain what this week has been like. Even as I type this, I just bought tickets to see the play Viva Forever in December!! That’s the play about the Spice Girls for those who aren’t obsessed with things like that. SO GREAT. The next thing I have to do is officially plan all the trips I have floating around my head. Another thing I’ll get back to everyone with more details. Until then, I’ll be flooding this blog with some pictures from this week. Enjoy!
4 Days…. uh-oh
This weekend I spent my last full weekend in the US in my fantastic second home of Syracuse University. I’m so so happy I got a chance to see all my friends who aren’t going abroad, or are going in the spring, before I leave. A little bittersweet though, such a tease of a weekend. But I loved every minute and I couldn’t be happier that I went. I got to see all of my fantastic Thetas, as well as both of my former roommates, and my former roommate’s former roommate… Who happens to be one of my best friends? Not as confusing as it sounds. All of my best friends in one weekend, SO perfect. I also drove up by myself, which was a big accomplishment. Proud proud proud. Check that off my SUcket List. As you can see from the above picture, we had a great time. Does anyone remember Bop-It Extreme?!? It was the best. You should all look it up. It used to be really cool.
So this week is all packing and preparing since I have literally done nothing to prepare for my departure in…. 4 days? Oops. I should probably go do something.
